2017-2018 Mizzou Hillel Interns
Engagement Interns
Funded in part by grants from the Flo Harris Foundation through the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Kansas City and Hillel International
These interns have a really fun job – to get to know other Jewish students on campus and help connect them Jewishly! They take students out for coffee (or fro-yo!) and talk about what it’s like to be Jewish at Mizzou. They also plan programs to engage students, such as a Jewish Cooking Club, Ga-Ga tournament, and volunteer opportunities. Send em an e-mail if you’d like to get coffee sometime!
Joanna Kolker
I am a sophomore studying Health Sciences from Chesterfield, Missouri. At Mizzou, I love being a Student Ambassador of the School of Health Professions and a member of SAEPi. In my free time, I enjoy singing karaoke, dancing spontaneously (with or without music), eating immense amounts of chocolate, and watching movies with friends.
Social Media and Development Interns
When you stop into Hillel, these are the friendly faces you see at the desk! In addition to the work they do in their focus areas, they also help with engagement, special projects, get us ready for Shabbat and so much more!

Hi y’all! I’m Amanda, and I’m a senior psychology major from Fort Worth, Texas. I’m an avid fan of the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys, and my happy place is URJ Greene Family Camp in Bruceville, TX. I spend way too much time on the internet already, so I’m super excited to be a social media intern this year!
