Music Director – The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah  in Overland Park, KS
* The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah has been called, “The oldest congregation in the Kansas City area with the newest ideas.” With over 1,000 families, the congregation has the resources and the willingness to experiment in order to more fully accomplish our core purpose, to nurture Jewish meaning, connection, and continuity. To further that purpose, the congregation is committed to significantly expanding its music program.
* The congregation is seeking a Music Director to create a B’nai Jehudah “sound” that will permeate all of its tefillah. This “sound” is a main component of inclusive tefillah, that nurtures and inspires those who participate, as well as creates an accessible and welcoming entry point for new participants The Music Director will shape this “sound” and “atmosphere” in partnership with our rabbis.

St. Louis Federation Learn and Earn Internship
Offers college students eight weeks of paid summer employment and community connection. Monday thru Thursday work for companies in a position directly related to a field of interest; on Fridays come together to learn about the St. Louis Jewish community and connect with other interns.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City – PAID summer internships
KC Leadership Tomorrow provides an eight-week paid internship designed to expose rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors to the world of non-profit, social service organizations within the Jewish and general communities of Greater Kansas City. Interns will meet with mentors throughout the summer, as well as learn about funding and grant writing. For additional information and an application go to

The right candidate will work with students on  core Hillel Shabbat, holiday, and learning programs, and will have contagious Jewish passion  and knowledge, entrepreneurial energy, and strong leadership and organizational skills. More information here.
