Jeanne Snodgrass
Executive Director
Jeanne Snodgrass MFA, MAJS, (She/Her) has extensive experience in arts non-profit organizations and community outreach and education and, along with her husband Dave, was an independent business owner. She is an active member of Columbia’s Congregation Beth Shalom, where her three daughters teach and attend religious school. Jeanne is interested in the performance of Jewishness and social justice, the ways we find connections to Judaism in a diverse and pluralistic society, and in the relationships we, as Jews, build with one another. In addition to her Hillel work, she is working towards Rabbinic ordination with PRS, serves as an elected member of her local school board; and enjoys dancing, reading, hiking, and occasionally revisiting old knitting projects and pretending she’s going to finish them. She loves working with students and the community from MU and the nearby mid-Missouri colleges to build meaningful Jewish programming.

Atira Feliciano
Director of Jewish Student Life
Atira (She/Her) born and raised in Oklahoma, moved to Columbia in 2022 and quickly found home in the community by teaching kindergarten at Congregation Beth Shalom. Before starting as Director of Jewish Student Life, she worked in marketing and communications for The Food Bank and made commercials for a news station in Waco, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communication from Oklahoma State University in 2020. While in Stillwater, you could find her programming events with the Student Union Activities Board, giving campus tours, anchoring for the student news TV show, writing for MODMuze Magazine, leading groups of freshmen at Camp Cowboy and, of course, spending Friday evenings with the tiny but mighty OSU Hillel.
Atira is excited to make an impact at Mizzou Hillel by creating a fun and inclusive environment and help empower student leaders to do the same. She has a particular interest in the plurality and intersectionality in Judaism because of her Puerto Rican and Indegenous heritage. In her spare time, you can find her training her dog, Suki, in canine agility, taking dance classes, finding the next concert or taking pictures of her cat, Sokka.

He spent his first year after graduation as a MASA Teaching Fellow in Tel Aviv and Nazareth. Now, he is serving the next two years as the Ezra Jewish Education Fellow at Mizzou Hillel. Daniel is also a published poet, short story author, and essayist. Creative writing remains his life-long passion, alongside DND, talking to himself, mental health advocacy, and the Jewish Community.

The Jewish students in Columbia deserve a strong community, a safe haven, and a sense of home at Hillel. It’s up to us to ensure they have what they need to explore their Judaism while they study, have fun, and pave their way in the world.
