Meet Mizzou Hillel’s 2018-2019 Internship Cohort:
Sarah Kusnitz
Bio: Sarah is just getting back from a semester abroad in Israel on the Nachshon Project. Originally from North Carolina, she is a counselor at Camp Ramah Darom in Georgia. Beyond studying she loves to hike, play roller derby, and learn Talmud.
Talia MillerÂ
Bio: Talia is currently a junior at Mizzou, and in her free time she likes to hangout with friends, watch tv, cook and travel. She is currently studying abroad in Florence for the summer and went straight there from Birthright! She hopes to get to know as many Jewish students at Mizzou as she can doing this internship and make everyone feel right at home!
Alec BarisÂ
Bio: Alec is a big fan of St. Louis sports, and has gone to Camp Sabra for the past 11 summers, where he is currently the Media Director. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and playing with is dog. Alec is excited to create more opportunities for outreach and help spread information about Jewish life during his internship.
Kate Wolk
Bio: Kate enjoys working out at the gym, figure skating, or just hanging out with her sorority sisters or friends from Hillel. Having just returned from a wonderful Birthright trip, Kate is looking forward to expanding her knowledge through her internship.
Dana Kaufman

Bio: Dana Kaufman is a junior spending her summer working at the Bernard Weigner JCC as a sports specialist. She spends majority of her time listening to music and attending small concerts, or hiking around some of the beautiful nature preserves that Columbia has to offer. She can’t wait to grow and learn more about the Jewish community throughout my time at the Hillel!
