Speaker – Gill Hoffman, Chief Political Correspondent at The Jerusalem Post
Mark your calendars – plan to join us Wed., Nov. 6 at 7 pm in Memorial Union S206 for a talk and discussion on Politics in Israel: The good, the bad and the ugly. Speaker Gil Hoffman was raised in Chicago and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern University’s School of Journalism. He wrote for the Miami Herald and Arizona Republic before moving to Israel. This is a 2013 Milton and Fieda Ferman Memorial Lecture – presented in Columbia by ADL’s regional International Affairs Committee along with the Jewish Student Organization and Mizzou Hillel. Leadership Institute
The first 3 Tuesdays of November at 5:30pm. Learn about programming, public speaking, service leading, and ways to get more involved in the Jewish Student Organization! Free food of course. You will be awarded a certificate for attending and a Sparky’s gift certificate if you come to all 3 programs!! More info here
